At the start of the footage a woman, in a green top and carrying a backpack, can be seen walking along Scarborough St when she was approached by the second woman.
The other woman, wearing a white shirt and denim skirt, walks off the road onto the footpath carrying an object.
She takes aim, hitting the umbrella.

However the umbrella-wielding woman fought back, defending against a volley of poorly-aimed blows.
The ordeal was over in a matter of seconds, with both parties appearing to walk away.
A police spokeswoman said neither of the women made a complaint to police, meaning they were not investigating.
While both women appeared to emerge unscathed it seems the umbrella came out second-best.
