Here is the complete guide on where to vote in the Gold Coast City Council election on March 16.
For voters on Saturday, this is our key advice to make it all go smoothly:
■ Check our guide, because the polling booths are different to the ones you’ve seen at pre-poll for two weeks, where voters have been confused about their divisions.
■ All the booths have full access except those listed.
■ All polling booths will be open from 8am to 6pm.
■ You can check your enrolment by going to check.aec.gov.au
■ Avoid voting early and voting late – those times get the biggest line-ups.
■ If you are in Brisbane, vote at the Brisbane City Hall, 64 Adelaide Street.
■ Voting is compulsory for anyone over the age of 18 – failure to do so without an adequate reason and you will be fined $154.80.
