It’s the last chance to nab tickets for Sunday’s Tim Tszyu versus Brian Mendoza blockbuster bout at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Cross Promotions CEO Billy Cross said the fight - or Tszyu II after he fought on the Gold Coast earlier in the year, knocking out his opponent in 77 seconds - would not be one to miss.
“It’s going to be bigger and better than the last one,” he said. “We’re expecting a complete full house. There are a limited number of tickets left, including a few Hollywood VIP tickets – but we’re talking just single seats here and there.”
“The capacity will also be the same at around 6500 people.”
With just over a day to go, Mr Cross said tickets prices would not be increased.
At the cheapest, a handful of Bronze tickets are still available at $109 per person. Silver tickets retailing at $149 are available across a few back row sections of the arena with few Gold tickets at $329 available across a few mid sections. Ringside tickets are still available, with Ringside Premium costing $500 per person, Ringside Rows 5-6 at $899 per person and Ringside Row 2 at $2000 per person.

The Gold Coast won a bidding war against Melbourne, Sydney and Newcastle to host one of the biggest boxing bouts in Australian history, making this Tszyu’s second world title fight on the Gold Coast this year.
He sold out the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre before 6000 fans back in June.
The June bout against Mexican fighter Carlos Ocampo saw Tszyu land a stunning 77-second first-round knockout.
Mayor Tom Tate said: “Gold Coasters have adopted Tim as their own so to have him choose our city for this blockbuster is incredible news.
“This will be a monumental fight night bringing together two champions from the WBO and world boxing champions Super Welterweight divisions. I’m backing Tim to stand proud on October 15 and deliver the goods for Australia.’’
No Limit Boxing CEO George Rose said the fight was a huge coup for the Gold Coast and Australia, and the team were “excited” to come back to the city.
