Traffic chaos on the M1 northbound as roads blocked again after second three-car pile up

A THREE vehicle crash on the Pacific Motorway near Burleigh Heads is causing major delays for those heading northbound.

A THREE vehicle crash on the Pacific Motorway near Burleigh Heads is causing major delays for those heading northbound.

The accident occurred at about 10:20 am on the Pacific Motorway before exit 85 and a car rolled over following the collision.

No one was reported injured and police are still on scene.

A man has also crashed into a fence on Lachlan Drive in Coomera after he suffered medical condition.

Paramedics are on site and the 40 year-old man is being transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital for further assessment.

TRAFFIC is at a standstill on the M1 after a three car pileup near exit 82 in the northbound lanes.

About 7.30am three cars collided near the Robina Parkway off-ramp causing chaos for morning commuters.

Paramedics treated one female patient in her 40s with arm and neck pain before transporting her to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

One commuter reported delays of more than half an hour.

Cars are banked for more than 20km and motorists are advised to avoid the area or take an alternate route, if possible.

Earlier this morning emergency services attended a two-car accident at Pennsylvania Avenue, Varsity Lakes after a car hit a parked car at about 7:50am.

One teenage male occupant has been transported to Gold Coast University Hospital with minor neck pain, while a female in her late teens is unharmed.

At about 7:20am this morning a motorcycle hit the back of a car at speed on Smith Street and Kumbari Avenue in Southport.

A Queensland Ambulance Services spokesman said one male in his 20s was transported to Gold Coast University hospital with minor injuries and is in a stable condition.
