Traffic: Motorists to expect heavy delays after a three vehicle crash on Beaudesert Nerang Rd

FOUR people have received serious injuries following a three vehicle crash in the Gold Coast Hinterland this afternoon.

Four people have been injured in a crash.

FOUR people have received serious injuries following a three vehicle crash in the Gold Coast Hinterland.

The crash occurred at 3.53pm this afternoon on Beaudesert Nerang Road in Canungra Creek.

Ambulances arrived on scene and four patients were assessed.

Three patients reported to have serious injuries were found to be stable and a fourth has critical injuries.

No one has been transported to hospital.

Firefighters also arrived on scene after reports of multiple people being trapped in their vehicles, but none of those involved were found top be trapped.

Police have closed the road and are advising motorists to avoid the area.
