Police have charged three teenagers after they allegedly threatened a man during an armed robbery on the Gold Coast.
Gold Coast police were called to an incident on Hanlan Street in Surfers Paradise around 11.30pm on Thursday.
Police said reports described a group confronting a man in a public bathroom and allegedly threatening him with a gel blaster and demanding his phone.
Luckily, no one was injured in the incident.
Officers rushed to the scene and arrested three teenagers.
A 15-year-old boy was charged with attempted armed robbery and unlawful possession of suspected stolen property.
He was remanded in custody and was set to appear in Southport Childrens Court on November 15.
A 17-year-old boy was charged with attempted armed robbery.
He was remanded in custody and was expected to appear in Southport Childrens Court on November 10.
Another 15-year-old boy was charged with attempted armed robbery and unlawful possession of suspected stolen property.
He received bail and was due to appear in Southport Childrens Court on November 15.
