Restaurants at a major Gold Coast venue are opening again after being forced to close due to coronavirus restrictions.

THE Star Gold Coast will reopen two more restaurants today.
Star chief operating officer Jess Mellor said Cucina Vivo and Kiyomi would join Nineteen at The Star.
“The team are back, they’re very excited and those restaurants are looking beautiful,” she said. Foodies have already locked in tables by booking online.
The Star Grand hotel would reopen on June 24, while The Darling suites were available and recording strong demand from Queenslanders enjoying a holiday at home, she said.

Garden Kitchen will reopen on June 19 and The Star expects to reopen gaming, bars and other venues when Stage 3 restrictions are in place.
“We’re looking forward to more details from the Queensland Government about when that will be,” Ms Mellor said.
The Star was forced to “close the whole property” on March 23.
