MORE than 400 partygoers are set to hit the Gold Coast’s newest nightclub as it opens its doors tonight.
ASYLUM opens after a $2 million redevelopment of Surfers Paradise stalwart Shooters, which shut its doors earlier this year.
Leading hospitality operators Hallmark Group, who also own Irish pub Finn McCool’s and nightclub Retros, has penned the revamped venue as “Australia’s most exhilarating new nightclub experience”.

Hallmark’s General Manager Cade Hopman said she had been ecstatic with the response on social media since announcing the concept.
“The response to the announcement has been staggering,” she said.
“The Gold Coast was crying out for a truly unique and immersive nightclub experience.
“The word asylum is ingrained in our cultural subconscious.
“For some, it evokes images of hospices for the different. But for others, it evokes images of a shelter.

ASYLUM will open its doors to the public at 10pm tonight after a VIP launch party.
