The Star Gold Coast’s Broadbeach Island precinct will add a new hotel brand and poolside beach club to the city’s mix when it welcomes an Andaz resort to its newest hotel tower.

Andaz is one of the Hyatt’s suite of brands.

It will take over floors six to 21 of the 65-storey tower that’s topped out at Star Gold Coast but is still having its interior completed.

The highrise, dubbed ‘tower 2’, brings to four the number of buildings at the precinct adding to the original Star Grand, The Darling and Dorsett hotel tower.

The Andaz hotel with 202 guest rooms and suites includes a fitness center and three food and beverage outlets. An expansive outdoor pool deck on level six will be the hero feature and aiming to be a destination hotspot with a cocktail bar, a beach club with private cabanas and al fresco dining. The Andaz Lounge, a signature of Andaz hotels, will be open all day for guests.
