STAN to send iconic ‘Friends’ couch on tour of Australia, stopping in Robina

A couch that featured in almost every episode of smash TV hit Friends is coming to the Gold Coast. Here’s how you can grab a selfie on the iconic sofa.

THE iconic Central Perk couch is set to head off on a national tour around Australia to celebrate 25 years since the first episode of Friends.

The much-loved couch featured in virtually every episode of the sitcom, which aired for 10 seasons between 1994 and 2004.

The couch was the setting for plenty of iconic scenes.

To celebrate the show’s 25th anniversary streaming service Stan is sending it on a tour of shopping centres across Australia.

Gold Coasters will be able to grab a photo with it at Robina Town Centre from September 5-8, when it’s featured on the Ground Level outside Myer.

Visitors are encouraged to post their pictures on social media with #FriendsOnStan for the chance to win a signed photo from the entire Friends cast, or a trip to New York City to mark the anniversary.
