THE Gold Coast Bulletin and 7 Gold Coast News have partnered in a joint initiative to help the Coolangatta business community recover from the devastating impact of the border closure.

We will also profile businesses over thee next two week, hoping to promote businesses and attract customers.

You can get behind the campaign by sharing your pics and experiences in Coolangatta with the hashtag #careforcooly.

We all know that the majority of businesses have lost tens of thousands of dollars in patronage and are experiencing a multitude of challenges including staff supply shortages.

This is having an unprecedented effect resulting in unrelenting personal pressure for many and widespread mental health issues.

Hope is the only thing stronger than fear and we have faith that the Gold Coast community will Care for Cooly not only for this campaign but into the future after the border situation is resolved.
