THE heartbroken mother of slain Gold Coast woman Shelsea Schilling has hit back at claims her daughter had rekindled her relationship with ex bikie enforcer Bronson Ellery, aka the ‘Lizard Man’.
Bonnie Markwell Mobbs today announced her daughter’s funeral would be held this coming Monday but remains furious after it was revealed another women witnessed Ellery attack Ms Schilling in the Southport unit on the day she died.
‘HE’LL KILL ME’: VICTIM PREDICTS DEATH
The woman, who cannot be identified, came forward five days after the pair were found dead inside the Johnston St unit and said she saw the heavily-tattooed Ellery assault Ms Schilling moments before her death.
Ms Schilling’s body showed signs of a head injury and asphyxiation.
“This lady watched our beautiful Shelsea being abused and assaulted and die then left her there and didn’t call the police or ambulance,” Ms Markwell Mobbs wrote on Facebook today.
“Then only to say something one week later. WTF.
“They were NOT a couple. Yes there was a DV order on Bronson and was breached.
“Shelsea did not take her own life. Shelsea suffered a severe blow to her head then was suffocated.”
Ms Markwell Mobbs said her daughter never planned to run away with her on-again-off-again lover.
“Shelsea was never going to runaway with that monster. The day before Shelsea went missing she brought a lunch box and folder for work and all her belongings are in place.
“There will be justice for our daughter Shelsea Schilling.”
Chloe Schilling, sister to Shelsea, also took to Facebook saying “the truth is out, Bronson Ellery assaulted and then murdered my beautiful sister in his Southport apartment”.
“You not only took away a sister but a best friend and I hope you rot in hell,” she wrote.
“She didn’t deserve this or the abuse you gave her over the years, any of it.
“ I hope my sister brought happiness into your life like she did mine and anyone else who knew her.”
Ms Schilling’s funeral will be held on Monday November 21 at Integrity Funerals, Parkwood at midday.
She will then be buried at Southport Lawn Cemetery.
