Queensland police charge five people in Comanchero bikie gang raids on Gold Coast
A 24-year-old Gold Coast woman is among multiple people charged during police raids which allegedly uncovered illegal drugs including GHB and “gang related paraphernalia”.

MULTIPLE people including a Gold Coast woman have been charged following police raids targeting bikies across Queensland’s southeast yesterday.
Police have now charged five people with 18 drug related offences following the raids, which focused on alleged members of the Comanchero outlaw motorcycle gang.
A dozen search warrants were carried out at properties in Coomera and the wider Gold Coast, as well as in Brisbane and Logan.
It’s alleged police uncovered quantities of cocaine, MDMA, cannabis, GHB, steroids and prescription drugs, cash and “gang related paraphernalia”.
A 24-year-old woman from Southport was charged with numerous drug related matters and is now set to appear in Southport Magistrates Court on July 1.
The Organised Crime Gangs Group’s Detective Acting Superintendent Tim Leadbetter said Queensland Police adopted a very strong approach to organised crime.

“Despite these unprecedented times and the demands being placed on the Queensland Police Service, there is zero tolerance for those involved in serious and organised crime,” he said.
“It’s business as usual in this regard and we will continue to be unrelenting in our efforts to disrupt and prosecute those who pose a risk to our community.”
Also arrested was a 45-year-old man from Logan Village, charged in relation drug offences, who will appear at Beenleigh Magistrates Court on 20 May 2020.
A 26-year-old man from Alexandria Hills was charged with drug offences and contravening direction, and is scheduled to appear at Cleveland Magistrates Court on July 30.
A 33-year-old Woolloongabba man was charged with five drug related offences, along with a 39-year-old man from the same address and a 31-year-old Forest Lake man also charged with drug offences.
All three will appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court at a later date.
