A man has died following being in a critical condition soon after he was pulled from the water at one of the Gold Coast’s most popular swimming spots.
Queensland Ambulance services were called to Tallebudgera Creek in Burleigh Heads at 1.03pm.
Paramedics are on scene assessed whether the patient suffered from a medical episode.
A Queensland Police Service spokeperson confirmed the 55-year-old Californian man had died.
