Two porn workers sparked outrage by encouraging 18-year-old Schoolies on the Gold Coast to get them to join them in filming explicit content are shrugging off critics to go global.
British expat Bonnie Blue, 24, and Brisbane-based Leilani May, 25, invited Schoolies celebrating graduation in Surfers Paradise to film X-rated scenes for use on their OnlyFans sites.
OnlyFans creators then monetise their content by having subscribers pay to watch it.
The call-out for Schoolies sex partners by Ms Blue - who lives in the Hilton Surfers Paradise in the Schoolies party zone - and Ms May sparked outrage online with various critics calling it “disgusting”.
The duo responded to outrage at their action by saying “we’re not predators”, that the teens were consenting adults and no one was breaking any laws. They added if people had a problem with what they were doing, their real problem was with the law.
Ms Blue and Ms May said they were “reeling in the cash” with “a massive influx on subscribers”, releasing 32 videos from the Schoolies period.
Now the pair said following Schoolies “success” they’re putting America’s Spring Break (a week-long break for college students) and Fresher’s week in the United Kingdom (a week-long party before University starts) next on the list.
“If you were to Google most popular porn categories its that in the 18 age group – we work in the industry so why would we not capitalise on that,” Ms Blue said.
“We’re business people, we’re self employed – we’re gonna make the most of what is popular in the industry.”
Ms Blue revealed her subscribers count went up by over 1000 since the Schoolies stint while she said she’s on track to make $100,000 in December.
“We’ve seen the cash income literally just increase so we thought - let’s just go crazy,” Ms Blue said.
“We’ve booked flights to Cancun because that’s the go-to place for Spring Break.”
Ms May added: “Our plan is very similar to before, but just bigger and better – we’ll be flying out for Spring Break February 24 and we’ll be there into March, then hitting the main cities in the UK like Manchester and Nottingham where all the big universities are.”
The duo revealed they will return to the Gold Coast for Schoolies 2024.
“With Schoolies we had one Instagram story up for 24-hours, this time we’ll be making TikToks posting it all over social media - taking our phones, ring lights and consent forms... it’ll be a world tour.”
The controversial Schoolies story ended up going national and global, with the duo featuring in interviews on The Project and in the New York Post.
