An elderly man has died after being pulled from a pool at a Gold Coast residence.
A police spokeswoman said an 80-year-old man was found unconscious in a pool at a location off Ross St, Benowa, around 10am Friday.
Paramedics performed CPR, but the man could not be revived and died at the scene.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said a “post-immersion incident” had occurred in a pool.
