PARAMEDICS have taken two people to hospital after a suspected snake bite at Surfers Paradise and a fall from a horse at Cedar Creek.

But the two incidents were just the tip of the iceberg for Queensland Ambulance paramedics working on the Gold Coast last night and this morning.

Firstly, paramedics were called to Cedar Creek about 6pm on Tuesday after a man of an undisclosed age fell from a horse at a private address.

He was taken to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a stable condition, according to a statement from the ambulance service.

About half an hour later, paramedics dashed to a multi-vehicle crash on the Pacific Motorway (M1) southbound at Helensvale.

Two people of an undisclosed age and gender were suffering from neck pain and were taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

Paramedics were then called to a two-vehicle crash on Pine Ridge Rd and Sidney Nolan Dr at Coombabah about 6.40pm.

One patient, whose age and gender was not provided, was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition

About 10pm, a man aged in his 40s reached out for help after he suspected he was bitten by a snake at a private address at Surfers Paradise.

The man was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

Come Wednesday morning, about 5.35am, paramedics attended the scene of a single-vehicle crash into a barrier on the M1 off ramp at Helensvale.

A man aged in his 20s suffered seatbelt-related injuries and was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
