GOLD Coast musical lovers are invited to attend Aquinas College's performance of Legally Blonde at HOTA on Thursday, May 27.
The award-winning musical is based on the adored movie, Legally Blonde The Musical, and follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes and scandal in pursuit of her dreams.
The show is the largest high school musical performed in the city with more than 150 students in the cast, crew and a multitude of staff behind the scenes.
The creative behind the musical is Arthur Henry, who says students have been working tirelessly on the production since January and that it was going to be “one Elle of a show”.
On Wednesday morning 600 students from Guardian Angels, Jubilee, St Brigid’s and St Kevin’s primary schools were treated to a full dress rehearsal of the show.
The show is two-and-a-hour hours, including a 20-minute interval, and tickets costs $25.
