The new centre, due to open before the end of the year, has promised a “world class retail experience” according to investment group Alceon Group.
The 188sq m store at QIC Robina will feature brick built mosaics and 3D models of local
icons.
Locals will be able to build their own mini-figurine, and have LEGO bricks engraved in store.
The “landmark” store is one of two just announced in Queensland, with a second at Chermside joining a line-up including London, New York and Shanghai, and the Gold Coast’s existing LEGO store at Dreamworld.
Richard Facioni, Executive Director, Alceon Group said he expected people to come from all over the Gold Coast to see the new store.
“The LEGO Certified Stores in Queensland will attract both local and international visitors as we unveil fun and inspiring retail environments that showcase the creative potential of the world famous LEGO brick,” he said.
