A CHILD has been taken to the Gold Coast University hospital in a serious but stable condition after a near drowning incident at a Surfers Paradise pool.
Ambulance crews were called to the Q1 hotel at 4.47pm after reports of a young boy had been pulled unconscious from the pool.

Three ambulances, including advanced care and critical care units, responded to the incident.
The boy was transported to hospital shortly before 5pm.
