A toilet block in a popular waterfront spot will be out of action as the Gold Coast welcomes a spate of visitors to the area this Easter long weekend.
On Thursday afternoon, Gold Coast Waterways Authority (GCWA) announced the Moondarewa Spit amenities block was closed due to an electrical fault.
The facility is expected to re-open mid-next week, with the public advised to use the Seaway Kiosk bathrooms until then.
“The Moondarewa Spit amenities block at The Spit is closed due to an unforeseen electrical issue that could not be repaired in time for the long weekend,” a GCWA spokesperson said.
“The Seaway Kiosk toilets will be open and available for use over the Easter break.”
