Police are investigating a brazen armed robbery of a Gold Coast pharmacy during broad daylight.
They said a man armed with a knife and wearing a surgical mask entered the Paddington Dr, Carrara business about 12.30pm Wednesday.
He stole prescription drugs, stashing them in a bag he was carrying before he fled the scene, police said.
No one was injured in the incident.
The man is described as Caucasian with brown short hair, a thin build and dressed in an orange and black florescent work style shirt with black long pants and grey sport shoes.
Investigations continue.
