A 69-YEAR-OLD man was rushed to hospital early this morning after almost drowning in the surf.
Paramedics were called to the near-drowning incident at 5.43am off Marine Parade, Miami today.

The patient had a pulse and was breathing but was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.
