TRAFFIC heading south on the M1 was in chaos this afternoon after a gravel truck lost its load near the Helensvale exit.
It’s believed the truck lost its load while on the highway.
Traffic was backed up as far as Yatala on the northern side of the Gold Coast, with several lanes closed. All lanes were reopened by 5.45pm but delays remained.
