“Sending so much love to you and your family. My heart is broken for you. No parent should have to go through this. Fly high Luna,” another poster said.
Luna’s ‘poppy’ Mike Feeney, shared a heartbreaking poem about the red-headed toddler following the tragic loss.
“Luna Luna she’s
My pretty girl.
Prettiest little girl
In the whole
wide world,
Luna Luna
Luna Capri
Cutest little girl
You ever
Did see,
Luna Luna
Luna bear
She’s my pretty
Girl with her bright
Red hair,
And her eyes
They shine
Like diamonds,
And her nose
As pretty
As a rose,
If I could take
Her smile
And put it on
The people of the
World,
What a beautiful
Place it would be
My Luna Luna Capri.”
The community has continued to rally around the heartbroken family with dozens of GoFundMe donations pouring in.
As of Wednesday afternoon at least $68,000 had been raised to assist the devastated family in their time of grief.
