Two Logan men have landed in court over their alleged involvement in a major drug bust police uncovered at a Springwood hotel.
Detectives from the Major and Organised Crime Squad Logan conducted a search of a Springwood hotel room and subsequent search of a vehicle on Murrajong Rd at 9pm on February 13.
Police will allege they located and seized a quantity of drugs, including 351 grams of a crystal substance suspected to be methamphetamine, a small quantity of cannabis, unlabelled pharmaceutical tablets and $21,000 cash.
Police charged three men with drug-related offences following the search, including Heritage Park man Timothy Daniel Dixon, 40, and Mount Warren Park man Matt James Carey, 32.
Mr Dixon has been charged with possessing a dangerous drug exceed schedule 1, possession of proceeds of crime, and possession of a utensil.
His lawyer appeared on his behalf in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Tuesday and said the matter would likely proceed on indictment to the Brisbane Supreme Court.
His bail was enlarged, and the matter was adjourned for a further mention on May 4.
Mr Carey, who stands charged with possessing anything for use in the commission of crime defined in part two, also had his matters mentioned in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
