Six injured, teen in hospital after four-car pile-up on Waterford-Tamborine Rd in Logan

A teenager is in Logan Hospital after a four-car pileup on the busy Waterford-Tamborine Rd at Buccan just before 8.30am on Thursday, July 18.
School traffic was at a standstill after the crash in which a car rolled on its side near the intersection with Acton St at Buccan.
The road is the main arterial from Logan’s southern suburbs north into Brisbane.
It is also the main road from the south to Canterbury College and other high schools in and around Beenleigh.
Ambulance officers said six people were injured in the incident.
Traffic was banked back up for more than 2km, with a section of the road closed.
Diversions were in place with police directing traffic along Stegman Rd.
Lengthy delays are expected.
