Motorcyclist critical after crash with car at Hillcrest

A motorcyclist is in a critical condition following a two-vehicle crash in Logan on Thursday afternoon.

It is understood the crash, which involved a motorcycle and car, occurred on Johnson Rd near Elliot Ct in Hillcrest about 5.30.

The male motorcyclist, a 45-year-old Regents Park man sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.

The driver and sole occupant of the car, a 30-year-old Loganlea man, was taken to Logan hospital as a precaution.

Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam vision or CCTV from the area to come forward.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
