More than 20 people treated after bus crash near highway

More than 20 people, including children, have been treated by paramedics after a car and bus crash on a highway south of Brisbane.

More than 20 patients, including children, have been treated by paramedics after a car and bus crash south of Brisbane.

Ambulance and police crews were called to the scene at the corner of Caswell Road and Mount Lindesay Highway at Veresdale, near Beaudesert, at 3.38pm after the incident.

The bus was believed to have had more than 20 people inside, with two patients - a teen and a pre-teen - treated for minor injuries.

There were also two people inside the car with no serious injuries suffered.

Two patients were taken to Logan Hospital in a stable condition.

Three ambulance crews attended, along with police, with both still on scene at 4.30pm.

There were no road closures or major delays as of 4.30pm, according to police, but minor delays were expected.
