Golf lovers looking for an entry into the property market can swing into action this weekend and snap up their own nine-hole golf course.
A six-bedroom brick house at Logan Village, 45 minutes’ south of Brisbane, comes complete with its own golf links, golf buggies, turf machines, and a liquor licence.
Although the price is not listed, Elders Town and Country real estate agent Mark Affleck, who is managing the site for the vendor, said it would fetch more than the Logan Village median sale price, calculated at $1.07 million by analysts PropTrack.
The suburb, which is known for its quaint village atmosphere and historic pub, experienced a massive 21.9 per cent annual growth rate for residential property since Covid.
“The current owners loved golf so much that when they first moved in they started off building just one hole,” Mr Affleck said.
“That then progressed to two holes and now it there are nine with a clubhouse.”
Mr Affleck said there had been a lot of interest from club members but also from a professional golfer and other groups who just want buy a house.
He said no offers had been made but expected buyers to swing into action as the property was advertised.
The 18ha site is one of about 20 on the market for the postcode 4207, which is part of Logan city.
