Police have released vision of the moments a man was arrested after allegedly threatening a teller in an attempted bank robbery south of Brisbane.
Detectives from the Logan Criminal Investigation Branch charged 34-year-old Jamie Lee Cambourne after he allegedly went into a bank on City Rd at Beenleigh before 4pm on July 17 wearing a mask before threatening an employee and demanding cash.
Mr Cambourne allegedly fled on foot empty-handed after the security alarm was activated.
Police arrested the man at a property on City Rd, Beenleigh last night.
The vision of the arrest shows Mr Cambourne being found by police in a pool of clothes on a bed before being taken from the property.
He was charged with one count each of attempted robbery, stealing and fraud – dishonestly obtains property from another and appeared at the Beenleigh Magistrates Court today.
He has been remanded in custody with the matter adjourned until September 5.
