A 20-year-old man has fronted court for the first time after allegedly broke into a school at Flagstone in Logan and racked up a whopping $80,000 in damages.
Flagstone man Connor Douglas Sinclair-Musa, 20, appeared in Beaudesert Magistrates Court on Tuesday charged with wilful damage and enter premises and commit indictable offence by break.
Police will allege Mr Sinclair-Musa entered the grounds at Flagstone State Community College around 9pm and smashed around 200 windows on February 15, 2021.
The clean-up of the damaged classroom windows caused considerable disruption to the school for several days.
Investigators charges Mr Sinclair-Musa over the alleged incident on March 7 this year.
Mr Sinclair-Musa, who represented himself in court on Tuesday, asked for an adjournment.
His matters have been adjourned to be heard again on April 19.
