A young Gleneagle father allegedly linked to the Mongrel Mob has landed in court accused of breaking into a home in Kingston and robbing someone while armed with a hunting knife.
Aaron David Spokes, 26, appeared in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Tuesday charged with robbery armed/in company/used personal violence (serious organised crime), entering a dwelling with intent by break at night in company (serious organised crime), possessing dangerous drugs and possessing utensils or pipe that had been used.
Police will allege Mr Spokes entered a dwelling with intent to commit an indictable offence in Kingston on September 21 last year.
They will also allege he was armed with a hunting knife during the incident.
Police allege Mr Spokes had been participating in a criminal organisation and ought to have known the offence was being committed at the direction of a criminal organisation, namely the Mongrel Mob.
He is also facing drug-related charges for allegedly being busted with cannabis, a bong, grinder and scales in Forest Lake on September 30 last year.
His matters have been adjourned to June 8.
