HOT Tomato have ruled the breakfast airwaves for another year.
The Southport-based radio station is not only celebrating their 16th birthday today, and the title of the city’s most listened to breakfast and afternoon radio show.
Hot Tomato’s Flan, Emily Jade and Christo was the number one breakfast show (5.30am - 9am) with a rating of 13.8 per cent, down 2.2 per cent, according to the second survey by GFK.

Their afternoon drive show (4pm - 7pm) with Galey, Mal and Moyra also came out number one with a rating of 15.5 per cent, down 2.5 per cent.
Gold Fm’s breakfast show Bridge & Spida came second with 13.5 per cent, a decrease in its rating of 0.9 per cent.
4JJJ was third with 11.3 per cent, with an increase of 1.9 per cent.
Gold FM is celebrating having the number one station in the city having the most listeners over the age of 10.
The SeaFM breakfast show with Dan, Ben & Heather came forth with 9.5 per cent, with a decrease of 3 per cent.
Southern Cross Austereo, who produce Hit FM and Gold FM, have come out best in the age demographics.
Gold FM had the number one station for people listening over the age of 10-years-old with 13.9 per cent, down 0.9 per cent and the number one station for listeners over the age of 40.
Hit FM also holds the reins for the most listened show for people under the age of 40 (20 per cent).
