“The Gold Coast is a wonderful place for wedding photography, it is like nowhere else,”she said.
“You have the hinterland, beaches, and golf courses. Every backdrop in the region provides spectacular photos.
“My favourite location is Currumbin Beach. I always love to gather something quirky with each wedding so it brings a unique element to each couple. Often the best shot is when they know I am not there.”
Wedding photographers must be at the top of their game, and often deal with nervous, stressed and excited bridal parties.
Ruth said every wedding is special, but you need to have people skills.
“You are often a significant part of the day, and need to make sure on your end they are having a comfortable and enjoyable experience,”she said.
