Authorities are warning boaties to be aware of multiple wrecks which have been found in Gold Coast waterways over the weekend.
A sunken and seemingly empty cruiser has been located at the Paradise Point Channel.

A yacht has also been found sunken just off Millionaires’ Row just off South Stradbroke island.
According to Gold Coast Waterways Authority no oil pollution has been found on either vessel.

It is understood the owners of the vessels have been located in order to begin removal.
The discovery of the wrecks follow half a dozen of similar occurrences on the Gold Coast in recent months.
It also follows news that the Gold Coast is the most accident-prone place in Queensland for boaties.
Last year, the Gold Coast reported the most marine incidents with 83, followed by Gladstone with 69, Brisbane with 53 and Townsville with 42. Twenty-nine people were injured in the Gold Coast crashes, including 16 who were admitted to hospital.
