Paramedics have rushed to the scene of a motorbike and car collision causing traffic mayhem on the M1.

Emergency services were called to the crash on the Pacific Motorway southbound lanes in Arundel at 7.34am on Friday.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said they assessed a man with potentially life-threatening injuries to his pelvis and upper limbs and took him to Gold Coast University Hospital.

Paramedics also assessed a woman who had neck injuries and took her to Gold Coast University Hospital.

The crash caused traffic to bank up from Helensvale to Pimpama at around 8.30am.

One motorist who uses the M1 every day for work said they were “sick of this sh*t”.

“Fast track the Coomera Connector,” they said.

“So off it.”
