Gold Coast Traffic: Beaudesert Beenleigh Rd reopens after crane rollover, police issue warning
A major Gold Coast road has reopened after a crane rollover caused it to be closed for several hours this morning.

POLICE have reopened Beaudesert Beenleigh Rd this morning after a crane rollover completely blocked both lanes.
Emergency services were called to the scene at Tamborine at 6.49am after reports of a crash involving the crane.

The road was completely blocked between Beenleigh and Tamborine for several hours, before Transport and Main Roads Queensland announced it had been reopened shortly before 1pm.
Police issued a traffic alert via Twitter urging motorists to seek an alternate route.
The driver, a man in his 30s, has been taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition with a head injury.
