A TODDLER has died after being pulled unconscious from a Gold Coast pool.
The three-year-old boy was rushed to Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition on Saturday afternoon after being found in a pool at a Runaway Bay home just after 5pm.
It is understood the little boy died in hospital over the weekend.
A police spokeswoman confirmed a report would be prepared for the coroner.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious.
In the 2018-19 year, 64 people drowned in Queensland, including 17 children.
The latest Royal Lifesaving drowning report revealed two-thirds of the deaths of kids aged four and under in Australia happened in swimming pools.
