Gold Coast police called to home on Teal Ave in Paradise Point after shots fired

A crime scene has been declared after a Gold Coast home was peppered with bullets on Tuesday morning.

A crime scene has been declared after a Gold Coast home was peppered with bullets on Tuesday morning.

Gold Coast police were called to a home on Teal Ave in Paradise Point after reports of gun shots at 3.20am.

A police statement said they were investigating the incident which said a number of shots were fired into the residence.

No one was injured in the incident.

Police are investigating whether a car fire on Helensvale Rd in Hope Island just 13 minutes later was linked to the Paradise Point crime scene.

Officers are urging anyone with any information about either incident or anyone who has dashcam to call 131 444.
