For Christmas, we are heading back to Orange County California, which is where we are originally from, to visit out families. Our trip began early December starting in Vancouver to visit family then back East to Connecticut, where I was born, then to Denver Colorado to see my brother, his wife and niece and nephew, then to California to end the trip for Christmas.
Scott Imlach – Gold Coast venue owner
Christmas this year will be spent at my partner Kirby’s parents on the Gold Coast with the family. We went on a pre-Christmas holiday this year to Fiji. It’s an amazing place for a family holiday. As I drew the short draw this year, I am working the festive season.
Ron Bakir – Homecorp boss
We live in the best place in Australia – the Gold Coast. We will be staying right here.

”For our family, it’s all about sharing laughter, love, and the Christmas spirit. We’re excited to celebrate Christmas Day with family and cherished friends — good food (hopefully), lots of laughs, and definitely a few competitive games. Here’s to full bellies, big smiles, and great company!”
Brooke Lee – Gold Coast actor (Mako Mermaids)
I am on the Coast this year. We did a huge trip to New York last year, so this year we’re staying home. We’ve just bought a house, so I’m hosting my very first Christmas here with my fiance and his huge family.
Nick Woodward – Rick Shores owner
Prawns and champagne by the pool at my partner’s family home. Looking forward to an Aussie Xmas after my mum and dad’s dream white Christmas in Japan last year.
Peta Fielding, co-founder Burleigh Brewing
“We had our whole family together a couple of weeks ago so have already celebrated a super special Christmas. The tree is already down! And now we get to enjoy Christmas ‘time’ catching up with friends and just going with wherever each day takes us. And we’ll of course be close by the brewery, keeping the fermenting beers company.”
Phil Mumford. Goldlinq CEO
“I’ve got two grandsons now so I’ll be spoiling them with Christmas gifts.”
Greg Yong. Dreamworld CEO
“For Christmas I’m looking forward to having a day off. I haven’t had a day off for about three months so it’d be nice to do that.”
