Gold Coast gamers set for exclusive first look at new video games at October’s EB Expo
GAMERS from across the world will descend on the Gold Coast next month for the nation’s biggest video game expo. And attendees will get a special sneak peak at the hottest Games coming out this year.

GAMERS will get a sneak peak at some of the year’s hottest video games when they are unveiled at the nation’s biggest video game celebration on the Gold Coast next month.
Sony, the electronics giant behind the PlayStation line, have today announced a treasure trove of games and other products which will be shown off to visitors at the EB Expo, which will be held at the Gold Coast Convention Centre on October 7-8.
The PlayStation booth will feature both new and upcoming and releases including Detroit: Become Human, Gran Turismo Sport, Call of Duty: WWII and Destiny 2 on the PlayStation booth.
Capcom’s action role-playing game Monster Hunter: World will be available for consumers to play for the very first time in Australia.
Other products available for the first time in Australia are the PlayStation 4’s PlayLink games such as That’s You! The games are part of a social gaming experience put forward by PlayStation similar to those popular in the 1990s.’
Other games from this selection are, the narrative-driven crime thriller Hidden Agenda and Frantics.
Today’s announcement comes just days before the release of one of this year’s hottest tech products — the Mini Super Nintendo (SNES).
The Nintendo nostalgia device collects some of the early 1990s console’s most famous games, including Super Mario World and Starfox and comes out on Saturday when it is expected to sell out upon release.
In case you miss it, visitors to the expo will be able to access a cache of the mini consoles which will be available for purchase.
“The demand for the Mini SNES is absolutely staggering, so we’re over the moon to be able to offer our final launch units at EB Expo”, said senior director Shane Stockwell.
“We assure everyone that if you come to EB Expo on Saturday, you’ll be able to grab a Mini SNES console.”
