Paramedics have taken the 45-year-old in a stable condition to Gold Coast University Hospital after firefighters were forced to cut the door off her car.

The woman is being treated for neck and shoulder pain.

The crash comes after steady rain throughout the afternoon has soaked roads across the Coast.
