THE Gold Coast’s best individual young entertainers — on piano and in the vocal sections — will be on stage this weekend.
Eisteddfod spokeperson Tamara Morris says the piano solos and duos will continue at the Robina Community Centre until Sunday.
“Spectators welcome and tickets available at the door from just $6 adult and $3 child per session.”
“Vocal competitors will take to the stage to contest categories including a song from an animated movie, musical theatre and Australian country music,” Ms Morris said.
Eisteddfod assistant general manager Nicci Wilson said the section placegetters in vocals, piano and musical theatre had been decided after judging late in the week.
“We are on day three of both vocal and piano and both adjudicators cannot believe the wonderful talent they are witnessing,” Ms Wilson told the Bulletin.
At least 66,000 performers are expected to be on stage at various locations including HOTA during the next six weeks.
The competition early next week will see the arrival of Gold Coast schools.
