Need a rainy day plan? Workshops, performances, and yoga are all up for grabs for the next two weeks.

WANTING to know what to do these Easter school holidays? Here is a list of free activities to keep your children entertained on a rainy day.

Marina Mirage have organised a Gold Chocolate bunny maze where you can receive a free Lindt chocolate bunny.

When: April 5 to April 19 from 10am to 4pm

Where: Marina Mirage, Main Beach

Cost: Free

Birds of paradise takes over the Paradise Centre with roving performers who will be giving away gift cards, free activities, and feathery photo opportunities.

When: April 5 to April 18. (From April 5 to April 9 from 11am to 2pm go instore to collect a free colouring in tote bag and pencil).

The Gold Coast City Council/NaturallyGC is holding an arts and crafts workshop at the Botanic Gardens where you can find natural materials such as pebbles and feathers to create works of art.

When: April 9 from 9am to 10am or 10.15am to 11.15am.

The Gold Coast City Council/NaturallyGC is putting on a morning for children's yoga and a beach clean up.

When: April 9 from 9am to 10am

The Gold Coast City Council/NaturallyGC are taking a walk through the Endangered Plants trail and observing the Ormeau bottle tree on the last day of school holidays.

When: April 18 from 10am to 11am

Where: Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens

HOTA is taking over Pacific Fair with Artlabs and an art exhibition as part of their Stay Golden showcase. Children can also create their own sand art using different coloured sand.

Visit Broadwater Parklands where there’s a giant bouncy pillow, rockpool water playground and barbecue areas.

Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens has giant bamboo, variety of birds and turtles.

Where: Ashmore road, Benowa

Coombabah Lakelands conservation area is home to koalas in the trees and kangaroos.

Where: Rain Tree Glen Coombabah

Beree-Badalla Reserve has many mangroves for you to explore.

Where: Throwers Drive Palm Beach

Tallebudgera Creek Bend Reserve is the perfect spot for a picnic overlooking Tallebudgera Creek.

Tchoobey Reserve is the prime spot for a kayak or a paddle.

Miami Bushland Reserve is full of wildlife and rainbow lorikeets hidden in hollows.

Burleigh Heads National Park is perfect for a picnic on the hill overlooking the skyline.

Be vigilant and safe in the rain when going to national parks and reserves. If it’s flooded forget it.
