The documents, first filed in May, are now before councillors for consideration.
According to the documents, the berths will be built across three arms, and will be capable of taking boats of between 13m and 19m.
The Beattie Road site will also have a boat ramp and carpark with space for 57 vehicles.
It comes after The Boat Works owner Tony Longhurst unveiled plans for a superyacht precinct in the area.
In May he unveiled the designs showcasing new plans for a superyacht marina and a proposed small tower for restaurants, boutique retail, offices and rooftop pools called the Pyramid.
The $100m expansion of the Boat Works, revealed in October last year, will see it almost double in size from 23 hectares to 43ha and is tipped to create 2000 new jobs during construction and once fully operational in 18 months.
