Police are appealing for witnesses after a seven-year-old girl was allegedly “indecently touched” on the Gold Coast by a man who approached her from a nearby bus stop.

A MAN has been charged after a seven-year-old girl was allegedly “indecently touched” at Highland Park on Tuesday.
Police are now appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following the alleged incident.
They say the girl was at an Alexander Drive educational facility at 4.30pm on May 11 when she was approached by a stranger from a nearby bus stop.
After a short conversation the man allegedly indecently touched the girl.
He was then interrupted and fled on a bus.
A 21-year-old man from the Logan suburb of Yarrabilba was arrested and charged on Thursday with one count of indecent treatment of a child.

Police are now appealing to anyone who may have seen something around the bus stop between 4.15-4.45pm to come forward with information or dashcam footage.
