Gold Coast crime: Teens from wild police chase face charges after alleged crime spree
The two teens who allegedly wreaked havoc across the Gold Coast for days have been charged.

TWO teens who were caught from a police chase that finished on the Gold Coast yesterday have had their charges officially laid.
A 4WD that the teens allegedly stole in Upper Coomera on the weekend, was seen during multiple incidents over the last two days.
The car was allegedly involved in an incident on Reserve Rd in Upper Coomera at 11pm Tuesday night, where a suspected firearm was pointed at a driver of another vehicle.

The incident was followed by the stolen vehicle being sighted driving dangerously on Gateway Arterial near Boondall, Brisbane around 10.50am yesterday morning.
A police operation, including Pol Air, tracked the 4WD heading along the M1 to the Gold Coast yesterday.
Police successfully deployed a tyre deflation device at Foxwell Rd at around 11.30am.

The 4WD continued for a short distance before allegedly hitting a car and causing minor damage to the other vehicle.
A 15-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy were taken into custody after the chase, and charges for the teens have now been laid.
Both face charges of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and receiving tainted property.
The 15-year-old will also face charges of obstructing police, driving without a licence, and contravening a direction.
Court date to be confirmed.
