ARMED ROBBERY - SOUTHPORT
Gold Coast detectives investigating the armed robbery of a Southport service station have released CCTV of a man they believe could assist with their inquiries.
The incident occurred about 7.30pm Saturday at the Kumbari Ave service station.
A number of cigarettes were stolen during the incident and no one was injured.

STEALING - YATALA
Police would like to speak to this man in relation to a stealing that occurred on Pagan Rd, Yatala.
The incident occurred on May 20, 2022 about 9.10am.
The community is advised to not approach this man, but to report any sightings to police.

Officers investigating the theft of postal items in Ormeau Hills would like to speak with this man.
The incident occurred on River Run Circuit about noon on February 15, 2022.

STEALING – BURLEIGH WATERS
POLICE would like to speak to this man in relation to a box of blood-glucose test strips taken from a Burleigh Waters pharmacy on May 24.
A man attended the Classic Way chemist about 1.30pm and selected two packets of blood-glucose test strips.
He discarded the packaging of one and put strips in his pocket before attending the counter and paying for one box only.
The man then left the store, making no attempt to pay for the second box.

STEALING – SOUTHPORT
Police are on the scent of a serial thief who took $272 worth of perfume from a Southport pharmacy on May 21.
A woman is accused of repeatedly returning to the Ferry Road chemist, selecting a number of fragrances and concealing them under her jumper and in her bag.
Police claim she left without trying to pay.
She allegedly did it three times, starting about 10.20am.

STEALING – BURLEIGH WATERS
This woman wasn’t exactly a sight for sore eyes.
She is accused of selecting a container of eye drops from a Burleigh Waters pharmacy on May 1 and putting it in her jumper.
Police allege she left the Classic Way chemist about 10.30am without trying to pay for the item.

STEALING – BURLEIGH HEADS
Police are asking for this man to use some muscle memory and explain what he was doing in a Burleigh Heads massage parlour on May 13.
A man entered the Gold Coast Highway business about 4pm, walked behind the front desk while the masseuse was with a client and stole a pouch containing the day’s takings.
The man fled a bicycle.

STEALING – SOUTHPORT
Police would like the know the naked tooth of this bizarre moment when a bloke walked into a Southport liquor store about 5pm on April 11 wearing a robe, no shoes and brushing his teeth.
He is accused of taking a carton of beer from the Scarborough Street store. It has left authorities with a bad taste in their mouth.
The man spat in the direction of employees as he left the store without floss, sorry, fuss.

WILFUL DAMAGE – SOUTHPORT
Police would like to speak to this man in relation to the wilful damage and attempted break and enter of a Southport business on May 28.
About 11.30pm, a man repeatedly kicked the front door of the Suter St business in an attempt to gain entry, damaging the doors.

STEALING MOLENDINAR
Police want to talk to a woman who became the subject of a viral video after she allegedly concealed items in her pram at a Supercheap Auto store.
The woman visited the Southport Nerang Rd store and it is alleged she put two disc-rotors in the pram under a blanket about 3.30pm on April 24.
The woman then left the store, and it is claimed she made no attempt to pay for the items. A male employee confronted the woman outside the store and retrieved the alleged stolen items, before the woman fled the scene. No one was injured during the incident.
Investigations continue.

STEALING COOLANGATTA
Police are keen to speak to this woman who they allege hasn’t quite mastered self-checkouts.
About 5.15pm on May 20, a woman visited a supermarket in a shopping centre on Marine Parade, Coolangatta and it is alleged she filled her trolley with groceries.
The woman went through the self-checkout registers and paid for one $5 item, then exited the store. It is alleged she made no attempt to pay for the other items.

STEALING PALM BEACH
Police are on the look-out for two women in relation to alcohol stolen from a Palm Beach hotel on May 16.
About 5pm, two women entered the Gold Coast Highway store and it is alleged they stole a six-pack of Jim Beam and cola pre-mixes, a four-pack of Wild Turkey premixes and a bottle of Edinburgh gin, valued at $100.
Police say the pair then exited the store while the attendant was preoccupied stocking the shelves, making no attempt to pay for the items

ENTER PREMISES – BROADBEACH
This bloke had a good look around a Broadbeach resort complex about 5.30am on May 13, but he wasn’t on holiday. He didn’t have any boardies or a towel.
He forced his way into the secure carpark on Anne Ave by breaking the gate. The man entered the pool and spa area, then the backyard, before leaving.

ENTER PREMISES – SURFERS PARADISE
This guy decided to use the two hours he was trapped inside a carpark in Surfers Paradise on March 1 to mind other people’s business.
After following a car on foot into the carpark on Frederick Street about 6am, he tried to enter all the vehicles, broke into storage sheds, stole a bicycle and graffitied walls.
He broke the garage gate while trying to free himself and kicked the interior door, before eventually escaping.

STEALING – LABRADOR
POLICE want to speak to this man over the alleged theft of property from a car at a Labrador unit complex this week.
Sunglasses, a wallet, backpack and overnight bag were taken from a car parked in a secure underground carpark on Bath Street sometime between 7pm on May 14 and 10am on May 15.
One of the stolen bank cards was used to make fraudulent transactions at nearby service
stations and convenience store.

Enter premises – Broadbeach
These two bike bandits stole property from a vehicle at a Broadbeach apartment complex on May 9.
Just after midnight a man and woman, each riding a bicycle, entered the complex’s secure basement on the Gold Coast Highway and gained access to a vehicle.
The pair stole prescription glasses, a backpack containing three jackets, pair of jeans, remote control for a roller gate, tools, a Leatherman multitool, torch and house keys.

Stealing – Robina
Police would like to speak to this woman in relation to $100 headphones taken from a Robina electronics store on March 25.
About 1.45pm, a woman attended the store on Robina Town Centre Drive, and selected a pair of headphones from a clearance table before concealing them in her pram.
The woman left the store, making no attempt to pay.

Stealing – Runaway Bay
This alleged thief didn’t have the foresight to check for security cameras when he made off with four pairs of sunglasses valued around $1000.
They were stolen from a Runaway Bay eyewear store on April 23.
Just before 4pm a man attended the store, located within a shopping complex on Lae Drive, and grabbed four pairs of Rayban sunglasses from the display rack, concealed them in his jumper and ran from the store.

Enter with intent – Mermaid Beach
This bloke is a serious contender for idiot of the week.
He gave a security camera a spray before breaking into an electric bike and scooter store at Mermaid Beach about 1am on May 1, although he managed to keep his glasses on, so gets marks for that.
Once inside, he smashed an internal alarm pad and tried to steal a scooter, but could not get past the locked doors at the front.
He tried to use a long stick and fire extinguisher to force the locks off the rear secured door, before giving up and damaging a TV. He fled back through the roof.

Fraud – Helensvale
A would-be Batman and his sidekick Robin might have information into why a stolen credit card was used to make illegal transactions at a Helensvale shopping centre on March 19.
About 3.30pm, a 51-year-old man’s mobile phone and credit card were taken from a vehicle parked at a Millaroo Drive shopping centre.
The card was used to buy about $300 of goods at a tobacco store, gaming retailer and newsagency.

Unlawful entry of a motor vehicle – Labrador
A credit card stolen from an unlocked car in Labrador was used to buy $68 worth of alcohol in Biggera Waters on April 12.
The card was in a handbag taken from a 32-year-old woman’s unlocked car on Brown St about 1pm that day.
Also stolen were a wallet, personal identification and other cards.

Bike theft – Coomera
Police would like to speak to this man in relation to a $900 bicycle that was stolen
from a Coomera train station on April 3.
Around 7am, a 48-year-old man left his bicycle secured to the racks on the south side of the train station.
Around 7.30am, a man attended the bike racks and stole the Norco bike, described as a black with a tan seat.

E-scooter theft – Hope Island
Police would like to speak to this man in relation to a $1200 electric scooter that was stolen from a car at Hope Island on April 25.
Around 1.50am, a man gained entry to an unlocked vehicle, belonging to a 41-year-old man, parked on Waters Close and stole a Segway Ninebot.

Stealing – Burleigh Heads
Police would like to speak to this man in relation to a bag that was stolen from
a Burleigh Heads car wash on January 21.
A 36-year-old man left his bag, containing a $2000 laptop and sports gear, at a car wash on Kortum Drive.
Around 9.30pm, a man has attended the car wash and located the bag.
He looked inside it and placed it in his car, before he finished cleaning his car and left the premises with the
bag.

Stealing – Southport
It was all fun and games for this woman who did some nimble thumb to grab a $99 video game controller in a Southport home entertainment retailer on December 7.
The woman entered the Marine Parade store about 1.45pm, selected an Xbox controller, removed the security tag and concealed it in her shopping bag.
She then left without trying to pay.
