Some coronaviruses can cause illness similar to the common cold and others can cause more serious diseases such as Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) and Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS).
Signs and symptoms?

fever, a cough, sore throat, fatigue, shortness of breath.
Anyone who has travelled overseas in the past 14 days, and feels unwell, should see a doctor immediately. Before your appointment, call ahead and advise of your symptoms and recent travel so they can prepare for your visit.
Where can I be tested?
Testing for COVID-19 novel coronavirus is only available for people feeling unwell who have travelled to overseas in the past 14 days or have had contact with a confirmed case.
What is the advice?
As a precautionary measure to help slow the spread, from today, all non-essential organised gatherings of more than 500 people should not go ahead. All essential day-to-day activities, such as school and work, can proceed. Anyone feeling unwell should not attend public events, and stay home from work and school.
